The Zoomback Advance A-GPS Pet Locator is $99. The lowest “monthly plan” is $19.99. But, they have annual, two year, and lifetime plans that will save you money in the long run. They also waive the $35.00 activation fee for these plans. The Annual plan is $155.88, which breaks down to $12.99 per month.

Tea cups and most miniature breeds are still out of luck. But, since this device is smaller and clips onto your dogs collar, unlike the bigger units which are full collars with antennaes, this device will be okay for dogs down around 15lbs. My wife and I are definitely getting these for our two tweenie dachshunds.

This dog tracking system would be very useful for coon hunters. Their dogs go out a good distance, and they hunt at night. Even if the dog would go out of range, you would still know what direction to go.

I went through 4 (yes, FOUR) Zoombak dog collars and never did get one to work as the batteries didn’t hold a charge for longer than 1/1/2 days. The collar was charged more than it was on my dog. I had excellent satellite coverage, so that was not the problem. Could not recommend this to anyone.
